Thansing V.D.C Nuwakote district, which lies in the central Development Region of the Gountry is of great historic importance. It houses the palace of Prithivi Narayan Shah. Thansing is a village Development Committee in Nuwakot District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5951 people residing in 1020.which is around 30 Km from Kathmandu.Thansing has a blend the plain Land and hilly terrain.Thansing was said to be granary of kathmandu which so for had been supplying rich grains to Kathmandu.It shall under tate different vorieties of fruits especially mangoes,Lichi,apricots,Plums, Jack fruits, gava and banana.

It has historical anecodote where Rana prime Minister Juddha Shamsher visited thansing on an Eleohant back and acquired large shrech of Land for an Orchard. Thansing and the vicinily thus has orchrd friendly enviroment. Thus one could be with nature enjoying .Besides the regular program one could even make special request for the occupancy of the entire or partial unit under special reservation as well.

(3) Phakhel Village:- Hetauda Distric. Maximum Altitude: 1750m.
Phakhel Village is situated in the Mahabharat Range, South of Kathmandu, approximate two hours drive. Although close to the Capital City it is an subsurface road. A sub-tropical climate prevails. The vegetation is mixed forest with fruiting trees & scrubs and below indigenous medicinal herbs and orchids. Many colorful birds are the natural orchestra in the area, including Blue Magpie, Scarlet Minivet, Moubtain Scops Owl and Eagles. Over 150 species can be seen.
